W. Neal Carris, CPA
Retired
After 39 tax seasons, Neal Carris officially retired on July 1, 2018. He celebrated this occasion by keeping with the pledge of excellent client service, and spent the day in the office completing a long-time client’s final corporate income tax return. Neal is a graduate of Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida, and he started practicing public accounting in the Central Florida area in 1978.
During Neal’s career, he audited and reviewed financial statements for companies in industries that include: Construction, Manufacturing, Wholesale, and Not-for-Profit organizations. Neal ran his own independent CPA firm from 1984 through 1991, at which time he joined Glickstein Laval Carris, P.A.
Having no regrets, Neal now divides his time between golf, grandchildren, and traveling. Neal come back into the office a couple of times a month to visit. He is very appreciative of his clients and friends who helped him achieve this enviable retirement status.
