2019 HOPE Helps - Shamrock Rock N' Run

In 2019, Glickstein Laval Carris, P.A. participated in the HOPE Helps Sham Rock N' Run 5K! HOPE's mission is to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida by equipping individuals and families to become self-sufficient through housing, outreach, prevention, and education.

2019 ME STRONG

In 2019, Glickstein Laval Carris, P.A. participated in the ME STRONG 5K! ME STRONG supports the friends, family, and individuals battling cancer through the power of friendship. Each passing year, the ME STRONG 5k has continued to grow in popularity. The event hosted nearly 4,000 participants and hundreds of spectators! It is from the kindness and generosity of the growing ME STRONG community that more than $700,000 has been given to those battling cancer in need of financial assistance and to support groundbreaking research in search of a cure.

2019 Picnic Project

Glickstein Laval Carris, P.A. participated in a day of service with The Picnic Project. The Picnic Project is a non-profit organization located in the heart of downtown Sanford, Florida. They share hot, healthy meals with 75-150 of our friends, neighbors, and community every Sunday. Weekly, they offer clothing, books, personal hygiene items, and packaged baked goods.

CPA Day of Service

For the 2019 CPA Day of Service, we volunteered at Feeding Children Everywhere, where we packed meals for families in our community. Each meal packaged goes directly to the home of a family in need. Hunger Project events are fun, high-energy, and suitable for all ages. More importantly, these events give you the power to change lives for good.

2019 Basket Brigade

Seminole County Sheriff's Office Community Foundation 2019 Christmas Village

Glickstein Laval Carris, P.A. was a sponsor for the Seminole County Sheriff's Office Community Foundation 2019 Christmas Village. Each December, the Foundation joins with community care providers and local business partners to host a "Christmas Village" to help provide a brighter holiday for children in foster care, as well as those who have faced abuse or neglect. Volunteers hold toy drives and raise funds to obtain thousands of toys, then set up a festive Christmas Village, complete with games, cookie decorating, crafts, and visits with Santa. While the children enjoy the activities, their parents and caregivers secretly shop for toys to help provide a bright Christmas morning. Families attending the event are by invitation only.

Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando Donation Drive

This year, Glickstein Laval Carris, P.A. is hosting a donation drive for the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Each year, Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando houses more than 7,000 homeless cats and dogs at its locations in Orlando and Sanford. They rely on donations from the community to help care for these pets while they are waiting for their new home.
